lies 6 miles from Big Bear. Providing an idyllic escape from daily life, Oakes beckons to the naturalist in all of us, providing a beautiful, natural and stimulating environment.

GROUP RENTALS
We have full weeks and weekends open this summer for large and small groups.
Traditional activities include, swimming, horseback rides, rope courses, archery and riflery, and an observatory for night time star gazing. Campfires and various sized meeting rooms are also available.

Camp Oakes is owned and operated by the
YMCA of Greater Long Beach and is located on 230 acres in the San Bernardino Mountains.
Many groups, including schools, churches, colleges, YMCA's, disabled, and not for profit groups use Camp Oakes all year round.
